Mary Sorensen
I am here for you!
My name is Mary Sorensen and, as a certified life coach, I love to help individuals live their best lives! I grew up in a small farming community as the youngest of nine siblings! Having always had people around, I am passionate about connecting with people individually! In high school I earned a black belt in martial arts. I love the mindset and teachings I learned, especially around interactions with others and personal growth. In college I earned a bachelor's in Sociology which is the study of groups of people. I have worked in many industries, including the service industry, and also worked with adults with disabilities. Additionally, I received my life coaching certification from the Certified Life Coach Institute!
While I have had a pretty great life, it hasn't come without its challenges. I have struggled with dyslexia and ADHD throughout my life and have even lived through a house explosion (it's a crazy story, I will have to tell you about it sometime)! All of these experiences have strengthened my desire to connect with each person individually to help them build their best life! I look forward to working with and getting to know you!
Qualifications
- Certified by the Certified Life Coach Institute as a Professional Life Coach
- Continue to improve my life coaching skills through multiple life coaching courses
- Earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Anthropology.
- Certified through ACRE (Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators).
